I need help choosing a Pc, which one is the best?
That depends on what's best for you. We're here to find that out.
Buying a PC is not as straight forward as it used to be. There are so many options it can soon become confusing and overwhelming! We can help cut through this headache with a refreshing approach. Have a look around the website, get a feel of what cases and components you like, and be inspired by the outlandish Pcs on offer. Then give us a call or drop us an email. You'll get a fast response, detailing the perfect system for you.
The person responding to your enquiry will be helpful and fully explain the options available. Bear in mind a budget you want to aim for and what you want to do with the PC and we'll fashion a quote specific to your needs. In most cases the quote will highlight some options for you to consider as well. Getting exactly the right system for you can be an evolution of many ideas bounced back and forth. That's the different between buying a PC off the shelf, like a suit, or having one tailor made to fit you. The outcomes are quite different, but achieved for the same price point. Now that's worth finding out about!
What cover does my warranty provide?
Beast Computers offers a comprehensive warranty as standard. Your system is covered by a 2 year return to base warranty. This includes parts and labour, so in the unlikely event of any problems simply send the system back to us and we'll sort out the problems. Customers are advised to keep the packaging the system arrives in. These boxes are specially designed and padded to ensure the PC arrives without problems. If you lose or dispose of the packaging then replacements can be sent to you at a cost of £20. (This is the cost of getting the box to you, rather than the actual value of the box).
Warranty on year 3 depends on the options you chose when you purchased your system.
Please refer to these full Terms and Conditions for any clarification.
How long after I order a system will it be delivered?
It is understandable that you'll want your dream PC straight away! Generally your system will ship within 5 - 15 working days. We normally manage an average of 10 working days for air cooled builds and 15 working days for fully water cooled systems. Each build is specific to the customer. Each is meticulously built, tuned and then overclocked. Finally it is heavily tested for speed and stability. Considering all this effort, we do not claim to be the fastest company at building and sending a PC. Rushing one of our systems out the door is missing the point why customers come to us in the first place! It is all about the quality inside and out. Quality takes time.
During busy periods build time may extend to a maximum of 15 working days for air cooled systems and 20 working days for a water cooled system.
Custom made Liquid cooled Pcs are literally an artform to produce. These builds can take up to four weeks to complete. If you order one, when it arrives you'll understand why!
In very rare circumstances some builds will take longer than expected. This only occurs if stock shortage makes a build impossible. In these cases you will be contacted with viable alternatives. Any other delay will be due to failed testing. We can never guarantee whether a system is going to pass testing. However, we will guarantee, that it never gets sent until it has passed each and every test. The whole point of testing is to create a 100% stable system, if this means it gets tested many times before success then this is better for everyone concerned. We have stringent quality levels to maintain after all.
Delivery is made by courier to your door. (Or you are welcome to collect). Beast Computers liaises with the customer during the build period to ensure this delivery is made on the most convenient day of the week. Surcharges may apply for weekend deliveries and non-mainland deliveries. Unless we've spoken to someone at your address we will not send the system. We need to confirm someone will be there to take care of it.
For credit card purchases, to reduce fraud, Beast Computers will only deliver to the registered credit card holders address.
What payment methods do we accept?
Payment is made at the point of order. All major credit and debit cards are accepted. We also accept cheque and bank transfer payments. We do not accept American Express.
Can I change the case to one I prefer?
Yes. Beast Computers offers a range of different cases to suit every taste. However, if you've got your heart set on something completely different then chances are we can provide it. Contact us and we'll do our utmost to find the case or component you're after. If you have some special mods in mind, chances are we've done it before. So just ask.
What do Beast Computers offer over other PC system manufacturers?
The build quality of a BEAST is unmatched. Each machine is meticulously built with particular attention to detail. Gamers demand high standards of presentation and performance, a BEAST will meet and exceed these expectations.
How?
Build detail. A comprehensive quality check list ensures every BEAST is up to the Beast Computers Seal of Approval standard.
BEAST tuning. Every PC goes through a lengthy tuning procedure to further enhance its performance. All drivers and software are installed and optimised. Further changes are made to the BIOS, system settings and windows settings. The PC will also be overclocked at this stage if the customer has selected it as an option.
Complete customisation service. Choose exactly what components and design you want. If we don't offer a component we'll be able to order it. However outlandish your customisation ideas, chances are we've built something similar in the past. Although this may increase the build time marginally you'll be getting exactly the PC you want, built to your own personal specification.
24 hour burn in period. Its a simple fact that most faults with a brand new PC can be traced back to faulty manufacturer components. Any faulty components can be identified before the machine ever reaches the customer and can be replaced. The burn in period also allows us to run various system tests to make sure your PC is running at optimum performance.
Cabling method. Our attention to detail means the interior is neat and tidy, promoting better airflow. Besides it looks that much better!
What is the relationship between Beast Computers and Wired2Fire?
The Beast Computers brand and website were purchased by Wired2Fire Ltd in late 2008. Previously the brand was owned by Cybedia Ltd.
The Beast Computers brand focuses on mainly water cooled builds, whereas Wired2Fire concentrates on air cooled PCs. Both websites maintain the same competitive pricing across all components and systems.
What if I decide to cancel my order?
Beast Computers are confident that you'll love your system when you receive it. For this reason we give you seven working days after you receive the system to be sure you're happy with it. If you're not entirely happy you can contact us, via post, fax, email or initiate a return using the automated returns system within this period. The customer will be given a full refund on return of the undamaged goods. Shipping costs to and from Beast Computers are paid by the customer and are not refundable. All original packaging, accessories and instructions must be included. Please go to the shipping page for full details of the cancellation procedure.
In the case of systems built to the customer's specification, i.e. Where any of the parts have been physically altered: the 7 working day approval period does not apply.
Do Beast Computers sell internationally?
Currently Beast Computers will accept international orders from the Republic of Ireland only.
