Forum Rules - Read before posting

In an effort to give people an idea of what is and isn't allowed around these parts I've put together a listing of forum rules and guidelines. These will be enforced at the discretion on the Forum Moderators and Beast Staff. If you are unsure whether your post breaks one of these rules please PM a Moderator (not the Beast Staff as they have enough to do!) before posting. These rules will be amended from time to time so make sure you check back here for updates.


Only one account per person is permitted. You are responsible for any activity linked with your account. You may not share your account login with anyone.

Any posts that encourage illegal intent will be removed and may result in an account ban. You will not knowingly post content or links to content that violates the copyright, trademark, patent or other intellectual property right of any third party.

Do not link to any site that contains adult content, sexually explicit material or might otherwise be considered offensive. You may not post content or links to content that is libelous, defamatory, offensive, obscene, racist, abusive, that violates a third party's right to privacy, or that is otherwise inappropriate (e.g. direct competitors to Beast Computers).

No commercial advertising is permitted. Any posts deemed to be self promotion, advertising (excluding those inauthorisedforums), or spam can and will be removed.

The search feature was invented for a reason. You might find that a similar thread has been created or a question already answered elsewhere on the forums.

Post your comment/question in the most appropriate forum. Any posts deemed to be in the wrong forum will be moved. Do not cross-post the same question to multiple places.

When creating a new thread choose an appropriate subject. Try tosummarisethe post briefly in the subject.An example of a bad subject would be “L@@K!!!”.A good subject might be, “Blue screen occurs when running X”. When asking a question the more information you provide in the post the easier it will be for others to help.

Keep all comments civil, and be courteous at all times. Constructive criticism is welcome, but insults directed towards others will not be tolerated. Coarse/insulting language will not be tolerated.

Try to keep posts on-topic. Discussion threads are there to be discussed, support threads are there for support. Deliberate disruption -- such as consistent off-topic, frivolous commentary and/or hijacking will not be tolerated and such posts will be deleted.

Warnings and bans are not to be discussed openly on the forum. Such matters shall remain private between the Admin and the user. Questions or comments concerning these should be conveyed through e-mail or private messaging. A member of the Beast Staff will have final decision over any matter relating to the forums or website.

Be considerate when posting images - not everyone has a 1900 x 1200 resolution or super fast connection. Where possible host images on a hosting site like Image Shack and use thumbnails or links within the thread.

Signatures may not contain any pricing, sales, product etc. details for other websites unless express permission is obtained from the Beast Staff.

We reserve the right to ask you to change and/or remove your signature or avatar at any time, for any reason. Any signature or avatar that is offensive or insulting to either us, our members, or our staff, are prohibited.
