 As with all of our other eVo systems, the HYBRID eVo was designed to have something special about it. In this eVo, the 'special' attribute is that it actually comes completely pre-overclocked but what's more, its been overclocked with the full backing of BEAST designed CPU water-cooling. Watercooling allows our engineers to make this CPU run even faster than a standard air-cooled overclock. It is important once again to refer to our disclaimer and say that not ALL CPUS overclock the same so when we say that on average, this system is based on a Liquid Cooled Intel® Core™ 2 Duo E8400 3.0GHz running at over 3.6GHz, that's exactly what we mean. Some of our HYBRID eVos have actually clocked up to 4.0GHz and more often than not, this is possible with this system, so if you're one of those lucky customers who get a super-chip, congrats :-) For those not so lucky, its OK, you're HYBRID eVo will still wipe the floor with competitor systems in the same spec and price range. Our promise.
To add to its overclocked backbone, we added in an all new Extreme Edition directx10 ready nVidia 8800 GT graphics card that runs and performs faster than a 7950GX2!
As with many of our topline gaming pcs, we make sure to use the best dual channel memory available that allows us to increase clock speeds beyond manufacturers' rated settings at a stable, solid level. These increases in performance all add to the overall gaming experience and each little tweak gives you another little advantage over your competitors. That is what we are best known for and that is what you will benefit from when you enter the gaming arena with those who think they're faster, better and more deadly. They're not anymore...
Finally, as with all of our liquid-cooled BEASTS, its also 100% non-conductive, making it completely safe (albeit a little heavy) to take to any LAN events you want to attend.
